Christmas in July: Day 14 Don't forget to Volunteer and Donate Goods!

Why wait till the November rush to donate to your local food banks? The needs is year around, so why not add a little extra in your grocery card during each trip to the grocery store. A little will add up quicker the you realize.

For a list of nationwide food banks that could use your donations or help, you can check online at Food Pantries.org

And don't forget those toys,  you can check with  Toys for Tots for national listings of donation locations. Toys or monetary donations are accepted all year long.

Somehow, not only for Christmas, but all the long year through, the joy that you give to others, is the joy that comes back to you. And the more you spend in blessing, the poor and lonely and sad, the more of your heart's possessing, returns to you glad.
