Meet my Guest Blogger....My daughter Ciara!

I've been feeling a bit under the weather this weekend, so I asked my daughter to be my first official guest. Hope you enjoy!

Hello everyone. *drum roll* I am the first guest blogger ever for this blog! I am Ciara, and I am Michelle’s amazing daughter, the one you must hear about ALL the time.
She wanted me to put what it is like to have a holiday junkie mom, and I must say it’s pretty cool. I love the spirit she can provide in the house all year round, just because the keeps Christmas in her heart. A lot of my friends don’t enjoy the holidays as much as I do, and that is because they don’t have a mom like I do. She is the holiday junkie like she says she is. I also get good laughs, when I have to explain my mom’s “internet” friends and why we have so many Christmas cards and why she gets gifts from random people.  It makes me laugh, and her life could make a good Christmas Book.
Now of course having a mom with lots of Holiday spirit rubs off on you. I love to jam to Christmas music, and I have my favorites just like her. My favorite song is by TSO and is Carol of the Bells. That song goes back to 4th grade, and is just a favorite.

My favorite Christmas CD is Santa Clause lane by Hillary Duff. It never gets old and I listen to it so much, that even my mom knows the words to it now.

You may have heard about my mom’s Disney tree.  It is HUGE and contains only Disney ornaments. She has this tree because Disney is her favorite thing. This inspired me to make my own tree, of what I love. You see I am very girly so I have LOVED Barbie dolls ever since I was little. Therefore, I have a Barbie tree in my room with only pink lights, and Barbie ornaments.

My new ornament this year. 80's Barbie

My favorite Barbie Ornament is an ornament from last year. It celebrates her 50th Anniversary.

Mom's favorite Barbie ornament.

I also love princess and pink stuff so I have a pink crown stocking and a pink princess Santa hats.

Christmas can be adapted for anyone. If you’re a teen reading this, you are never too old to celebrate Christmas. It doesn’t make you lame at all. It makes life more fun.

One more thing I would like to share it my favorite Holiday commercial. *drum roll again* It is the SNUGGIE one, because I want a snuggie so bad, and it’s catchy!

I imagine a perfect winter day, with me in my snuggie, pillow pet behind me, pillow pet slippers, my iPod touch in my ears, and a nice cup of hot chocolate looking out the window. How great does this sound! So yup, that what I want to say about my mom and the holidays.
PEACE OUT!
Ciara
