I've declared June....Crafting Month for This Holiday Junkie!

When I came across this Necklace Holder, using a picture frame at Ta Da Creations I knew it was the perfect inspiration for a project to include in my daughters room. She has a love for long necklaces and pearls and as her collection grows, the space in her jewelry box is shrinking. Not only is the piece beautiful,
but it showcases the jewelry.
Now let me show you how I put my piece together.

I started with this Home Interior frame I found at the thrift store
for $3.99. No gold in this room, so I bought the perfect Brushed Nickel paint at Home Depot.

I cut some batting to fit the frame backing and used this
3M spray adhesive to attach it.

Next I used the glue gun to fold over and attach the fabric
I chose for the front.

I used my x-acto knife to poke holes in the fabric where the
screws needed to be returned.

And here is my final piece. I love the edginess of the silver and
the softness of the pink roses.

This piece is just many I plan on completing this week. Be sure to come back and check out some more projects for my daughters Soft Pink, Black, and White bedroom.
Her inspiration...A Loft In New York City!
